Behind this question is probably something sincere: a real longing, maybe years of reading, listening, and practicing, and a quiet suspicion that all that effort has not brought you closer. That suspicion can be unsettling, because the longing feels so genuine, and it seems unfair that the very thing which moved you to look at all could be what keeps you from finding. It is worth saying plainly that nothing about the wanting is shameful. It is the natural expression of a heart that senses there is more to life than the surface, and it is what brought you to every teaching that has actually touched you. The difficulty is only that wanting, by its structure, faces forward, toward a moment when you will finally have it, and so it carries a quiet message that right now something is missing. Each new teaching can then become a way of holding that message gently in place, even as it offers real comfort and insight. This is why “further” fits, though not because you have failed or because realization sits far away. The reaching itself creates a distance that was never there, much like searching for glasses that are already on your face, where the searching is earnest and the frustration real, and yet the looking is what keeps the finding just out of reach. If this feels familiar, there is nothing to correct in you. Seeing how the wanting works, with kindness and without condemning it, is already a different relationship to it, and that shift is often where things begin to loosen.

“The Full Story: How Archons Trap People Who Think They’re Awake,” draws on Gnostic and Nag Hammadi themes. It argues that spiritual pride, the “I’m woke, you’re asleep” mindset, is a false awakening rather than true enlightenment. In the video’s framing, this dualistic certainty creates ego friction and energy (called “loosh”) that feeds the Archons and the Demiurge, the controlling entities in Gnostic cosmology. According to the chapter titles, it also claims that “woke” vocabulary keeps people trapped in the “matrix,” that even remembering one’s divine spark doesn’t guarantee escape, that certainty itself is what gets “harvested,” and that modern algorithms act as a new form of Archon by farming consciousness through digital media. It closes with a vision of what it calls real Gnostic liberation beyond the “woke” identity. This is a spiritual and esoteric perspective, not an established historical or scientific account. The Gnostic texts do describe Archons, but the “loosh harvesting” idea comes mostly from modern New Age and conspiracy-adjacent interpretations rather than the ancient sources.

The image posted by @nizamdesign showcases a polished, dark-mode SaaS dashboard for a vendor management platform called Vetted. Designed as a web-based application (likely for desktop or large-screen use), it helps teams move from vendor chaos to clarity with AI assistance. Key UI/UX features include a collapsible left sidebar with navigation for Dashboard, Vendors, Reviews, Tasks, Documents, Reports, Notifications, Settings, and Account, plus a dark-mode toggle. The main view focuses on a specific vendor (“Lanternfish”) marked “Under review,” displaying ownership details, business unit, contract value ($125K/year), and action buttons like “Message vendor.” An activity feed logs chronological events with AI-powered suggestions (e.g., banking reminders or flagging address mismatches), while side panels show vendor facts (website, country, category, contract term), contacts, and progress sections for Requirements, Documents, Security, Legal, Compliance, Finance, Risk, and Approvals—complete with status indicators (approved, pending, review needed). Overall, the interface emphasizes clean information hierarchy, searchable case views, review tracks, and AI-driven automation for compliance and procurement workflows.

Imagine a toolbox where every tool is free, nobody asks for your email, and half of them come with a ready-made prompt you can hand straight to Claude. That’s the Pamba Starter Pack : 82 free and open-source tools for people who build with AI, curated by the team behind Pamba and re-verified monthly. Pamba also added a few browser tools of its own that run on your device with nothing uploaded. There’s an AI Slop Remover that hunts down em dashes and the word “delve,” a Metadata Scrubber that shows what your photos leak (GPS, EXIF, C2PA), a Safe-Zone Previewer so your captions never hide behind the TikTok like button, and a Policy Generator for the privacy policy the App Store demands. Then comes the creative workshop. Need to scrub a watermark, erase a stranger from a photo, or turn a blurry image into a sharp 4x version? Upscayl, IOPaint, rembg and remove-ai-watermarks have you covered. For video there’s OBS for recording, OpenCut as a CapCut alternative with no export watermark, Kdenlive and Shotcut for serious editing, and FFmpeg underneath it all. Remotion even lets you build videos by writing React code. On the audio side, Whisper and its faster cousins turn speech into word-timed captions, GPT-SoVITS and F5-TTS clone a voice from seconds of sample, AudioCraft composes background music from a text prompt, and demucs splits any song into vocals, drums and bass. For builders, the list goes deeper. You can run your own ChatGPT-style assistant offline with Ollama, llama.cpp, Jan or LM Studio, and drive image and video models through ComfyUI. Claude Code, Cursor, aider and OpenHands handle the coding, while shadcn/ui, Supabase, better-auth and n8n cover the stack. Firecrawl, crawl4ai, Playwright and browser-use let AI agents scrape and operate the web, and marker, docling, Tesseract and Stirling-PDF turn messy documents into clean data. When it’s time to launch, there’s PostHog and Plausible for analytics, Stripe Atlas and Mercury for company and bank, Porkbun for the domain, and icon.kitchen and shots.so for your store assets. One thing to keep in mind: licenses vary. CodeFormer is non-commercial, a few tools like Remotion, marker and surya have commercial thresholds, and some (Cap, Stirling-PDF, n8n) are source-available rather than truly open source, so check before you ship something paid. And yes, the page is also a shop window for Pamba’s own product, which turns a product link into AI avatar videos for TikTok.

Quicksand (microsoft/quicksand) is an async Python API for launching, controlling and snapshotting QEMU virtual machines, built mainly for sandboxing AI agents. It is MIT-licensed and has about 39 stars and 3 forks. The code is in Python, with 261 commits on main. Key points Setup: It installs with pip install quick-sandbox. It needs no root, no Docker and no system dependencies, and it runs on x86_64 and ARM64 across macOS, Linux and Windows. Images: It ships pre-built Ubuntu 24.04 and Alpine 3.23 VMs, with desktop variants (Xfce4 plus Firefox or Chromium). It also has agent-oriented images. quicksand-agent adds Python 3.12 and uv. quicksand-cua adds Playwright and Chromium for computer-use agents. Main features Commands: sb.execute() runs shell commands inside the VM and returns stdout and the exit code. File sharing: You can mount host directories at boot or hot-mount them on a running sandbox. Networking: Sandboxes are network-isolated by default. Internet access and port forwarding are opt-in through NetworkMode.FULL. Save and load: sb.save() stores disk state, which you can reload later, even on another machine. Checkpoint and revert: You can capture full VM state and roll back after a risky action. Desktop control: With a desktop image you can take screenshots, type text, press keys and move or click the mouse. Configuration: You can set memory (default 512M), CPU cores, disk size, mounts, port forwards, display and auto-save.

The British government is expanding facial recognition nationwide, backed by dozens of new camera vans and wider policing reforms. A public consultation on biometric technologies already assumes broad consent for a national surveillance system that changes the state-citizen relationship. In the past year alone, police across England and Wales scanned the faces of more than seven million people using mobile and fixed cameras, operating largely without a comprehensive legal framework. Critics warn this shifts the presumption of innocence, erodes public anonymity and privacy, and paves the way for predictive tools based on body language or other indicators. The Home Secretary has referenced Jeremy Bentham’s panopticon ideal, where the state’s gaze is constant. The article argues that mass surveillance sits uneasily with a free society and risks undermining core liberal-democratic principles if expanded without proper scrutiny.

Shifting work environments away from traditional, rigid settings offers significant mental benefits for remote professionals. Research into modern workplace habits indicates that alternative spaces, such as coffee shops, provide a unique balance between moderate stimulation and relaxed autonomy. Unlike standard offices, where constant supervision or direct interruptions can create stress, ambient environments offer controlled background noise—often described as the "coffee shop effect"—which actually helps enhance concentration and creative thinking. Changing scenery breaks up daily monotony, allowing individuals to align their tasks with natural energy cycles rather than forced hourly routines. Additionally, these flexible spaces provide opportunities for passive social interaction, reducing feelings of isolation without the heavy demands of formal networking. Ultimately, while different tasks require varying levels of focus, incorporating diverse surroundings into a work routine supports long-term mental well-being, creative problem-solving, and sustainable personal productivity.
